When I first said I wanted to make a 610ml bottle, the team immediately complained. “Why 610ml? People want 500ml or 750ml. That’s what the powders are measured for!” And yes, they had a point. A boring, logical, sensible point... But 500ml often feels too small, especially on a hot day, and 750ml just feels bulky. So the idea was simple: give riders a little more, without making the bottle feel noticeably bigger. And the funny thing is, the same colleagues who complained about it now don’t ride without them. That extra bit makes a difference: a few more sips, with no annoying size penalty.

The big development, though, was the spout. We wanted something you could pull open with your teeth while riding, that dispensed well, could be cleaned easily and didn’t get completely chewed up over time. So we chose a special silicone spout: soft enough to use easily, strong enough to survive proper riding. We paired it with a bottle body that squeezes well and finished it with an awesome design print, because practical things should still look good.
