Returns & Refund Policy
This policy explains how Dachs Sport handles returns, refunds, exchanges, defective products and print-on-demand products.
Your statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase is explained in greater detail in our separate Withdrawal Policy. Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
For eligible online purchases, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receive the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

You may also initiate the return process through the orders page in your customer account.
You do not require our prior approval to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. However, please provide your name, order number and details of the products being returned so that we can identify and process the return.

Returning Goods After Withdrawal
After informing us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

Please include your name and order number inside the parcel where possible.
The return deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period has expired.
For ordinary returns made under the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
We recommend retaining proof of postage until your return and refund have been completed.
Products must be returned to Dachs Sport and must not be sent directly to Printify, a print provider, manufacturer or another fulfilment partner.
Condition of Returned Products
You may inspect and try a product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would normally be permitted to do in a shop.
Please return products with their original tags, accessories and packaging wherever reasonably possible. The absence of the original packaging or tags does not automatically prevent you from exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.
You may be responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
Examples of handling that may cause diminished value include:
- wearing clothing during a ride or for an extended period;
- washing a product;
- damaging, scratching or marking a product;
- contaminating a product;
- returning a product with strong odours; or
- using a product beyond what is necessary to inspect and test its basic function.
Any deduction will be limited to the actual diminished value of the product and will only be made where permitted by law.
Print-on-Demand Casual Wear
Our Casual Wear products are produced individually after an order is placed.
Standard Casual Wear products offered in predetermined DACHS designs, colours and sizes remain covered by the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. A product is not treated as personalised solely because it is printed or manufactured after the order is placed.
The right of withdrawal may not apply where a product has been genuinely produced according to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you. This could include a product featuring:
- your name or initials;
- wording individually requested by you;
- an image or design supplied by you; or
- another individually requested modification that is not part of our standard product offering.
Where the right of withdrawal does not apply to a genuinely personalised product, this will be clearly disclosed before you place the order.
Print-on-demand and personalised products remain covered by your statutory rights if they are defective, damaged, misprinted or do not correspond to what was ordered.
Returns After the 14-Day Withdrawal Period
If the statutory withdrawal period has expired, you may contact us at info@dachs-sport.com to ask whether we can accept a voluntary return.
We will try to find a satisfactory solution, but acceptance of a voluntary return after the statutory withdrawal period is at our discretion.
For a voluntary return, we may require the product to be:
- unused and unworn;
- unwashed;
- undamaged and clean;
- complete;
- returned with its original tags and packaging; and
- accompanied by proof of purchase.
We may also require you to bear the return-shipping costs.
Our voluntary returns service does not affect your statutory rights concerning defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a product:
- arrives damaged;
- has a manufacturing defect;
- has a printing error;
- does not correspond to its description; or
- is not the product, size or colour you ordered.
Contacting us promptly helps us investigate and resolve the issue more quickly. A delay in contacting us does not automatically remove or reduce your statutory rights.
Please email info@dachs-sport.com and provide:
- your name;
- your order number;
- a description of the issue; and
- photographs showing the product and the issue, where reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable statutory requirements, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
Dachs Sport will bear the necessary costs associated with the statutory remedy, including applicable return-shipping costs.
Do not send a defective or incorrectly supplied product back before receiving return instructions from us unless this is reasonably necessary to preserve your statutory rights.
Any return instructions we provide are intended to make processing easier and do not limit your statutory rights.
Exchanges
We do not normally process direct exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a different product, size or colour is to:
- return the original product in accordance with this policy; and
- place a separate order for the replacement product.
A new order is subject to the price, availability and delivery conditions applicable when that order is placed.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are excluded from our voluntary returns service.
This does not exclude or restrict any statutory right of withdrawal or other statutory consumer right that may apply.
Refunds Following Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the entire contract, we will refund:
- the amount paid for the returned products; and
- the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.
We are not required to refund additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of an express, premium or other more expensive delivery method.
For a partial withdrawal or return, the original delivery costs will only be refunded where required by law.
We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notification.
We may withhold the refund until:
- we have received the returned goods; or
- you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees from Dachs Sport as a result of the refund.
After we issue the refund, your bank, credit-card company or payment provider may require additional time to process and display the payment.
Refunds for Defective or Incorrect Products
Where a refund is the applicable remedy for a defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied product, the refund will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
The refund will include any amounts that must be reimbursed under the applicable statutory requirements.
Refunds for Voluntary Returns
For a return voluntarily accepted after the statutory withdrawal period, we will inspect the product and inform you whether the return has been accepted.
If the return is accepted, the refund will normally be made using the original payment method.
Original delivery costs and return-shipping costs are not normally refunded for voluntary returns unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Any conditions agreed with you when accepting the voluntary return will also apply.
Products Purchased from Another Retailer
This policy applies only to products purchased directly from Dachs Sport.
If you purchased a DACHS product from Amazon, OTTO, a shop or another third-party retailer, please contact that retailer and follow its returns procedure.
Your statutory rights against the retailer from which you purchased the product remain unaffected.
